Bought a bike related item yesterday evening BIN. Paid straight away for the item.

This morning I find the seller has refunded the payment saying:

this was a mistake, mate. really, it will be reposted. thanks.

Item has yet to be re listed.

I have asked the seller for more information.

What are my options ….. if any?

Move on leave the relevant feedback you got your money and that’s all that matters.

Was it an obvious mistake (eg £1000 bike listed at 99p)? I’ve seen a few where BIN has been listed instead of a start price.

If it looked like a stupidly wrong price I’d just put it down to experience.

If the price was reasonable then I’d leave negative as they obviously just got greedy when it sold quick?

Out of curiosity it wasn’t those Manitou Shermans for £20 was it? Saw those as soon as they were listed and was tempted but a) nothing to fit them to and b) sounded too cheap.

Was the deal too good to be true? If it was a genuine mistake (as stated above, £1k bike listed for 99p) then I would just accept it and move on – we all make mistakes don’t we?
