No, but yes. I work for a (non-I.T. related) management consultancy as an analyst, but I can build databases, websites and PCs when required.

    Yes, but not very often.

    No.

…I think you really need a better definition of 'active outdoors type', most people who buy Goretex jackets seem to use them for going shoppping in, and the majority of 'approach' shoes are used for going to the gastropub…

    1) No – but I do spend quite a lot of time having to explain to others how to make their computers work, and I happen to think "The IT Crowd" is one of the best contemporary sit-coms!

For clarification – outdoor type means you do outdoor stuff like walking, climbing, kayaking, kite-surfing, whatever – not just wear the clothes.

I'm still a no in that case, I do ride a bike a lot though, 200 miles in the last 5 days…

    1. No, but I am desk bound, insecure, under utilised, and have an internet connection.
    2. People think so because I cycle to work, but I don't describe myself in this way.
    3. I'm so gonna pwn you in this thread! 😡

No – but I did used to be an intel analyst, not really techy IT but I still love a spreadsheet of data to play with when given the chance.
