Just a quick question for any Satmap users with more than one map pack:

Is it possible to copy these on to a single SD card and have the unit access all of them rather than having to change cards?

I travel a lot and bike all over the place and I don’t really want to carry a load of delicate SD cards with me if I don’t have to.

Hi Happy, you can use the custom mapping service from Satmap which allows you to put as many maps on one card. A good source of info for the Active 10 is Pocket GPS world. There’s a specific forum for the Satmap.

You can always buy one of the big 1:50,000 cards as an alternative. The central UK one, for example, goes from a line across the bottom of Wales up to somewhere about halfway up Scotland.
