Great on sand, far better tyres about for everything else. Wouldn’t recommend them for mud.

Cheers all – I can see me selling this on. No sand anywhere in sight! 😀

Just an update for anyone interested – have now been riding the Nate front, Larry rear combo for a couple of rides and I am impressed.
The Nate rides like a Magic Mary – brilliant, confidence inspiring grip on a wet Monkey run the other day – the Larry (mounted forwards, not backwards as I was thinking of doing) is a very nice, fast rolling rear that was rock solid on the loose, wet, gravel climbs. Yes, it doesn’t like the heavier mud, but I’ll keep it on as I mostly ride trails that aren’t that gloopy.

JJ’s are going back on in the summer.

    Cheers!
