    what is it like, obviously rain, but is it getting warm and will all the snow have gone..

    Never ridden in June I’ve always gone later but what I would say is it can still be very cold at the top of the cols. The temperature difference can be quite marked from the bottom of the valley to the top of a big col. It’s alright going up, but can be F***** freezing when you stop and coming down.

    going on 16th May col de tourmlet………….currently looks cold snowy and sunny….hoping that it will be fine for most of the time……agree with ed been to either end of the pryennes later in the year and it was freezing coming down.

    can be dangerous i damn near had pneumonia after a fast descent make sure and wrap up warmer for the descent, i was wiped out for three days could hardly turn the pedals
