Anybody ever had problems getting puncture patches to stick in hot weather?
I repaired a puncture today using a glueless patch, which lasted well for an hour of riding then I stopped at a cafe and left my bike in the sun. Just 30 seconds before I was about to leave it deflated rapidly as my patch had moved due to the glue melting.
Then back to the old style patches I just couldn't repair it afterwards. It seemed to be too hot for my glue to set!
Cant see it my self- i set fire to the glue before putting on a patch - sticks like shit to shoes
I had some trouble with a glueless park patch today as well...
What do they use in Vietnam?

Glue on - spread it about - strike a match and light the glue - burn off the solvent and make it ultra sticky - great for getting a patch to stick to the inside of a tire also.
Lighting the glue works well for the impatient.
I remember some patches melting off in 40 degree heat in Spain.
