    Meteor Shower tonight
saw a few meteors last night so, providing you have clear skies, you should see a few tonight. The radiant is Castor in Gemini – find Orion, draw a line from the middle star in the belt up through the bright red right hand shoulder, keep going about 2 or 3 times the distance from the belt to the shoulder and you’ll see two bright stars, Castor and Pollux. Shower peaks at 50 ZHr (50 meteors/hr) so watch this area for 10 minutes and you should see a few.

Was getting excited about this when I read it on the bbc website earlier, but I’ve just looked out of the window and someone appears to have pulled a blanket of cloud over us. Humph.
