    It looks like they have fixed the automatic Bluetooth connection and ride uploading…

    For me and a lot of others, this feature broke quite a few months ago. It meant that you had to find your phone, unlock it and open the Garmin connect app for the Edge 520 to pair with the iPhone and upload the rides (and get weather information etc too). It was an unnecessary faff

    The good news is that since updating to iOS 10, my Garmin seems to connect via Bluetooth without having to touch the phone, and rides are uploaded as soon as I save the ride on the Garmin.

    A general iOS10 comment rather than start a new thread. The video below shows how to turn off a number of features which I found quite worrying from a privacy standpoint such as texts / calemdar etc being visible from lock screen without passcode, someone can reply to a text on your phone without the code. Also location tracking (hidden in “system”) which is clearly stealth data logging for advertising.
