I know if I don't buy one I'll have a hub failure within days... but the axle's a 135/12 so I'll pass for now.

Yep, I bought one and luckily had the q/r ends from my previous one that I'd converted to 142x12! Bargain 🙂

The Hope Pro2 Evo rear hub boasts a one-piece steel rotor body and pawl carrier. Four pawls engage into a forty two tooth steel ratchet which is fixed into the hub shell which is sealed with a frictionless, non-contact labyrinth seal. This arrangement is not only much stronger than a standard 2-pawl freehub, it also ensures much faster 'pick up'. What's more the Hope Pro2 Evo rear hub makes a really satisfying ticking sound when you freewheel.

Cheers OP. I was just about to order a SS hub for £69 for a set of LB carbon rims (already have a front Hope) so now have 2 of these on the way (one ready for my n+1 wheel build)

They had a whole rear wheel with Hope Pro 2 Evo and Stans Flow Ex going for £160 last week. I ordered one of these hubs earlier today, hope the order is fulfilled!

Anyone know if you can buy one of these to 'upgrade' an original ProII to Evo (& 40 point?) ie swap all the parts except the hub shell?

I brought a rear on flow ex at £161, nearly brought 2 just cause the price was so good!

Are they going to stop selling Hope? Seems they're selling it all off.

Thanks for this. Couldn't of come at a better time.
Just cleaning parts for my new chameleon build and have found that 2 of the disk bolt tabs on my rear crossmax wheel have cracked.
Just hope they still have stock

They always have a few Hope bits in the sale. Bought a headset for £40 a couple of years ago. Sadly though their stock doesn't keep up with their web 🙁

There's also cheap chris king headsets in the sale, only blue though otherwise i'd have had one.
