If anyone has clear skies worth a good neck strain with up to 100 shooting stars/ minute

I saw one too – literally 30 seconds after getting in the garden so; wine out, bins out, 1 hour later…. **** all!

Just you wait till you spend all day looking at clear skies, light winds, great seeing – you’ve planned out a few hours hopping round your favourites with some new targets mixed in and put the scope outside to cool down then half an hour later the clouds have come over and the drizzle’s started …

10mins and saw one, if it stays clear i’ll pop out with a rollmat and a dram in half an hour or so.

Seen a few when I was lying in bed, nothing special though.

Saw another couple last night. Probably coincidence, but all the really spectacular ones I’ve seen have been the day before the supposed peak, and I think I saw a fireball sighting reported a couple of days ago.
