    They’ve put her to sleep. Looks like Chris Akrigg got off light when they airlifted him.

    Suspected serious brain damage.

    No, not the woman rider who thankfully seems to be pretty well recovered – but me from looking at daytime TV for more than a minute.

    I am sitting with my elderly mother in law at the minute, waiting for a repair man to turn up, and she insists on having this crap on all day. It’s the new opium for the masses.
