Ok, it was never that expensive but £6 online from Dixons / PC World and it's worth getting rather than diy your own. They've also got the chest mount at a decent price too.

Incidentally- the tripod mount goes about things a bit backwards, it's more useful to have a tripod mount with the gopro "foot" on it so that you can clip the camera into it, rather than having to unscrew the mount from the camera. I just removed the screw from my Gorillapod and stuck on one of the spare feet, but there's loads of ways to do it.
