Ok, it was never that expensive but £6 online from Dixons / PC World and it’s worth getting rather than diy your own. They’ve also got the chest mount at a decent price too.

Incidentally- the tripod mount goes about things a bit backwards, it’s more useful to have a tripod mount with the gopro “foot” on it so that you can clip the camera into it, rather than having to unscrew the mount from the camera. I just removed the screw from my Gorillapod and stuck on one of the spare feet, but there’s loads of ways to do it.

Anyone know if the newer goprov has the same mounting system?

The new GoPro uses exactly the same case and accessories.
