    We must have spotted these at same time as I’m after a kit for some old Avids. Not looking forward to doing those buggers, sounds a right faff.

    Do you need one for Hopes these days? Just had a bit of pipe and a bottle taped to the forks to do my old Minis.

    But you don’t need a ‘kit’ to bleed Hope brakes. Just a bit of tube & something to catch the spill from the caliper! (even the tube isn’t always essential)

    Just bled my new ones with 70 pence piece of 3mm pvc tubing from the village hardware shop…& I only use half of it.
    35p plus a small bottle of dot 5.1 from halfords (or motor factors) to bleed Hope brakes for less than a fiver.

    not essential for the Hopes but its a bit easier!!
