  • Prepaid Euro Cards. What Good Deals Are There?

    As many of us are about to disappear to foreign climbs, does anyone have any thoughts about these prepaid cards that are all the rage? Seems an expensive way to do it at £2 per ATM use but there must be better/cheaper deals. Also, how do they calculate the exchange rate?

    fair fx for me – I take it to the US
    ATM or just use as a credit card

    Thanks both, I've also looked at the Caxton one which gives free ATM use abroad. Is this a better option, is Mastercard universally accepted in reality?
