    at the request of mother-in-law i'm making a somewhat retro starter this xmas (don't snigger, her other choice was melon balls!).

    before i fall back on delia, don't suppose anyone's got a cracking recipe for cocktail sauce?

    1 part tomate ketchup to 1 part mayo. Add a dash of Tabasco and a touch of cayen pepper. Done.

    creme fraiche with some linghams chili sause in it.
    Much better than mayo.

    ….prawn cocktails may be retro, but they are also delicious!
