Just getting back on the bike after about 6 months off so decided to mix a bit of turbo training (sufferfest) with some outside rides

Why is it that when I’m on the turbo 230 watts for even a minute or so (I know its a small number but I feel like im starting from scratch) feels like a real effort, but going up a proper hill today 260 watts for 6 minutes felt comfortable.

Both readings taken from my calibrated stages, so why am I roughly 50 watts better outside for similar effort?

Are you comparing out of the saddle outside vs in the saddle on the turbo?
