    Anyone happen to know where I might find replacement barrel nuts for the rear post-mount brake on a turner frame (or any other barrel nut)?

    Google has yielded nothing 🙁

    …and just remembered turner did them. For about a million pounds each, you can get them from silverfish

    Thanks Swanny – not sure I could wait for them to arrive from the US. Typically the UK importer of Turner don’t have them in stock. I’ve found some identical-looking ones made by Whyte, so have ordered those. Fairly sure they’ll fit!

    Not sure if they are custom size but they are known as a ‘cross dowel’ in furniture circles and widely available from fixing specialists.
