What's the best way to post a pair of wire bead tyres? Do you need to box them up or stick them in a big polythene bag or just tape them together? I'm guessing with the bulk they would be quite expensive to post.

Standard parcels is the way to go. As long as they fit the max size criteria it's all down to the weight. A couple of bin bags will do for packaging and keeps the weight down. Max dims are 1.5 m long and a girth of less than 3m. Up to 2 Kg is £4.41, up to 4 Kg is £ 7.06.

Yeah I did this when I had to post some DH Highrollers. Then wrapped them in bubble wrap and stuck them in a couple of bin bags followed by copious amounts of packing tape; it was like a bloody football by the time I'd finished…complete PITA

I once received some tyres from a shop & they had just wrapped clingfilm round, a bit of parcel tape, the address label & bob's your weird auntie.

Kinda spoilt the suprise, but they arrived OK.
