    Hi all,

    Calling anyone with experience of posting bikes overseas!

    I’ve recently left the UK and moved to Adelaide in Australia. After seeing the cost of buying a decent mountain bike over here I’ve decided finally to have my Orange 5 sent out here.

    My Dad’s packed it up with a few other things in the box, and tried to get a few quotes. Best so far being Parcel Force at about £260. That’s for 135x75x20cm box, 30kg and £2500 insurance.

    Does this sound like a good price? Any recommendations on better and/or cheaper companies to use? My Dad was recommended Trans Global Express by his LBS but apparently they won’t do insurance and say we’d need to get that separately. Any ideas how that could be done??

    Thanks in advance,

    Robin

    Fed-Ex will do it on a 3+ day delivery for £184 not sure how much the insurance would be;
