Would you believe I just won a stage of the TdF? 🙂

First go with The Wretched this evening and found it surprisingly enjoyable. Problem I had was keeping the speed down, especially on the climbs, eg out of the saddle effort of 9/10, but cadence of 70. The turbo is on max resistance, so stick the bike in top gear and go, the turbo just doesn’t seem to offer enough resistance and I just pick up speed.

Its a Blackburn 3-stage magnet turbo, do other turbos offer more? Would rollers be better for resistance?

Let the tyre down? I have a turbo wheel with water in the inner tube, 25c with ~35psi in it. Runs cold with loads of resistance, on an Elite Hydroforce.

don’t have an issue with my cyclops Fluid Pro, using a road bike so gears are higher.

Used trainerroad.com rather than vids matched with the garmain GSC10 and HRM USB dongle to get the readouts to the PC. Measured rather than perceived workout for me.
