    Morning all

I’m in the midst of fitting a new bath/shower mixer using new flexible ones eith isolating valves to replace the old copper ones.

A friend has advised me not to have these in a straight line and if possible to have a loop whivh now I’ve come to fit them doesn’t seem right at all?

Shirley straight down with a bit of a gentle bend is ok?

    Thanks all 🙂

Did he give a reason? I can’t think of any.

I’ve never had one fail after fitting it as you describe.

If anything, I would have thought that a tight loop in a flexi tap connector would significantly increase the chance of it rupturing.

I can see no need for a loop either and its not what i did with mine [ not a plumber]

He said it was to help avoid splitting but just didn’t seem at all right when I dummied it up.

Think I’ll stick with a gentle bend.

    Thanks all 🙂
