    Grrr…

I normally use bikeroutetoaster but it has just thrown a tizzy at me after an hour of plotting an audax route, so what does anyone else use that may prevent me having to replace a laptop and a patio window?

    Thanks

I’ve given up. Couldn’t find a utility that would allow me to plot a route in TCX format, and use footpaths too.

Not quite the positive outcome I was after….. 😉

If footpaths don’t work you can switch to ‘draw lines’ and back to ‘follow roads’ when on road/ BW

Only tried plotting road routes on mine, but I use gpsies.com

Haven’t worked out how to put waypoints in yet, but it works ok. Just make sure you log in and tick the ‘keep logged in’ button, or else it seems to log you out halfway through and you have to start again.

I use strava routes myself takes some of the effort out of plotting too.

Fwiw I tried loading a route onto my edge 500. It loaded ok, but the gps would crash frequently making it next to useless (for this task)

Think it’s worked, but now my Garmin is playing up….

Time for bed, try again tomorrow! 👿
