Hiya. Question for engineering types. I already have a bench vise ( or is it vice? ).

I want to have something for gripping pipe while I cut. Don’t want to buy a complete new vice.
Is there some sort of pipe grip that grips into a normal vise? Have tried to google but having no luck as yet.

    Cheers

I saw Loco use what he called a shaft gripper (snigger) to hold parts of my suspension forks whilst he dismantled them. I was able to make my own by drilling the right sized hole in a block of wood and then sawing it in half. Worked a treat.

Yes, you can get V-shaped magnetic vice jaws.

V jaws as per Ben or small pipe vice that you grip in your existing vice.

it all depends on what size pipe?
