BUT
The Petit Tour de Manche is one of three new routes being co-ordinated by Cycle West as part of a £6.8m project to connect cycle networks across south-west England, the Channel Islands and France.
Am I missing something or does it really cost 6.8m UKP to put up a few signs on the roads for the route? Or are we paying passengers ferry tickets?!
Surely the Sustrans routes are already over here. Is there a serious amount of tarmac need laying on the French side?
