I don’t have a beer to rule them all, new ones pop up all the time. The other day I tried Squawk Falconers Flight for the first time and very nice it was too. I bet next weekend there’ll be something else to try.

If you like Clwb Tropicana and visit Georgia, USA anytime soon, be sure to try Sweetwater Triple Tail and Creature Comforts Tropicalia – I do like a fruity IPA 😛

Is it just me or are the Purity UBU and Brewdog logos similar? 😕

    . . . well, maybe after a few Tropicalias 😳

Had a Cardinal Wolf last week. That was yum.

    https://www.tinyrebel.co.uk/beers/cardinal-wolf/

As so many of the smaller brewery beers are only available for a short time I tend to lean towards breweries rather than specific beers now.

    Tiny Rebel
    Wild Weather (local to me)
    Siren (fairly local)
    Wiper and True
    Arbor

That and funny names. I’m sucker for a funny name.

Oh, and I’ve a bottle of You Snows It for Christmas.

Tennents is Gluten Free by the way. A lot of beers are that aren’t marketed that way (it puts people off supposedly). There is an enzyme cocktail called brewer’s clarex that reduces haze, but also drops the gluten levels below 20 ppm (making them suitable for about 98% of people with gluten intolerance).

At least according to my lecturers. Actually, if you can, ask a guy called Matthew Paulie (runs the distillery at Heriot Watt). He is gluten intolerant and has been compiling a list of gluten free (but not marketed that way) beers.

Nanny state because I’m off booze at the mo and it’s a tasty v low alcohol option. Like the idea of a non ‘manly’ brand on my shirt so I can encourage people to bait me…

Westerham Brewery do a nice range of GF ales.

Currently got a crate of GF Double Stout, along with a few IPA’s and Audit Ale which at 6.3% is to be drunk with care.

Not very exciting but st Austell’s tribute is by far and away my favourite beer. Probably because I worked/drunk in at st Austell brewery pub for a long time so it just tastes ‘right.’ It’s also now constantly in my local pub, which is very pleasing 🙂

Not really tied to one or another, but I’ve had a few Omnipollo Leon more often than anything else recently. If I’m back home there is almost always some Old Speckled Hen or Landlord.

hodgynd – glad I’ve found another Golden Plover lover.

Micro breweries pop up everywhere but the folk who own our village pub have just renovated the Twice Brewed Inn up by Hadrian’s wall and put a brewery in too.

I’ve only had a bit yet but got a couple of bottles yesterday so will report back!
