Tick. Got a mate I've not seen in ages coming over for a ride on Wednesday.

I (attempted) to ride on Boxing day. Saw a few walkers but not tyre tracks at all. The snow was thick with alot of ice. I started at Edale and only managed to get to the top of Mam Tor before deciding on a bail out 🙁

Running today and a lot of the trails on the edge of the peak were about 3-5" thick with ice and there's not much chance of grip, sorry.

It's pretty bad here on the edge of the Peaks, so I'm guessing Peaks proper will be very icy. The temperature has dropped too, which means any thawing that occurred today will be extra slippery tomorrow.
Even walking is tricky at the moment.
