    Hi all.
    Bit of a conundrum.

I used to have an iPod Nano.

The music on my PC/the ipod was partly from cds (imported through itunes), partly bought of itunes, but majority was downloaded from legalsounds.com (and then copied into itunes).

I have now got a Sandisk Sansa Fuse, which is a simple drag-and-drop affair. I just copied all my music from my PC (which is all in one big folder) onto the Fuse.
However, all the tunes which were bought of itunes, or were off a CD (and then imported through itunes), wont play on the Fuse, as it is the wrong file type.

So, firstly, any recommendations on a free convertor? Just want to get them into .mp3 format I guess?

Will the songs bought from iTunes be protected etc, and unable to be converted?

Secondly, once Ive got all the files converted, any recommendations on what to use for syncing to the mp3 player? Ive just been dragging-and-dropping, although I have used WMP today. I dont listen to music off my PC/mp3 at home, so not too fussed about it as a music player.

    Ta, Duane
