Got the above, and failing to get it set up so it’s not rubbing at either end of the gear range … running Middleburg Uno ring and 9 speed cassette.

And with a bit of mud thrown it, it was rubbing really quite a lot – fair weather only?

It’s certainly very neat, but any hints on getting it right!

So does the chain rub at the rear end of it then as you shift from high to low ? If so just widen the rear part of it with a file.

Nice and low close to the chain and positioned just above the centre of the chainring.

Running one on a 1x 10 road bike with 40t chainring and 11>36 cassette ( well I think that is what it is…)

No issues, but no mud either. Clearance is tight ‘though.

Odd. the one I have on my Puffin has been flawless, never noticed any rubbing and its never dropped a chain.

Which version (mount) do you have?

My set up is 1×10 if that makes any difference?

Ditto, used a seattube mount one 1 x 10 on a 32T Renthal and it was flawless, really impressed with it.

It seems to rub when on lowest and tallest gear … have fiddled a fair bit!

    Looks too angled forward 😕

Looking at letmetalktomark’s lovely clean example, more horizontal may be the way to go.

Must say with muddy conditions, and the close tolerance, I’d be surprised to get no rubbing tho?

Try running a 10 speed chain – they’re narrower on the outside but the same on the inside, so will fit your sprockets but give you more clearance within the guide.

    I ditched mine for a narrow/wide chainring – perfect
