Used panaracer kit, basically a needle and thread , then velox kit to seal it up.
Then bought a new tyre soon after as I wasn`t convinced.

The patch on my High roller has been sound for over a year now including a week or so in rocky Spain.

I've found the needle and sticky thread works well on rips in the centre of the tread. Not in the sidewall though.

+1 for chucky or the weldtite kit – I've had a repair in a nobby nic for over a year and it's fine! Much cheaper than a new tyre!

I mended a couple at the weekend. I used Stormsure neoprene wetsuit glue. I cleaned the inside of the tyre and just poured a blob of this stuff over the area (about a 1 inch diameter circle) and poked it about to make sure the glue had gone right through the hole.

I left it for 24 hours to cure and the repair is as strong and flexible as the original.
