I sent round my leaving note at work today. Everyone here knows how much I love cycling and I’ve always been happy to offer advice and support. It’s great to receive notes like this in return:

That’s nice! My immediate colleague here has started getting interested in road cycling (despite being crapped on by a pigeon when he went out on a friend’s mountain bike on Sunday!) and has started asking my advice. At the moment his budget is £200 so I’ve sent him to look at a Triban 3 from Decathlon.

He’ll learn!
