So the wife is an additional card holder on my John Lewis Credit Card and gets a letter saying as she’s not using her card they’re going to close the account.

Only thing is she uses it regularly (as shown by the statement) and it’s my account. Anyway, phone them up and they just say, ‘must have been an error’. Not exactly impressed, every fact on the letter, bar her name and card number, was incorrect.

This has shattered my sense of middle-class-ness. It’s like buying rotten fruit at M&S, or getting a duff wine from Waitrose, these things should never happen…
