I’ve got a job in London, Between the Strand and the Embankment near Trafalgar Square. I need to take some tools and materials so the tube is not an option. Is there any sensible parking round that way? Hopefully I can unload then move the car but obviously not too far.

Pay by phone street parking. I always find spaces on Savoy Street or Savoy Place, if not further along at Melbourne Place. I think they are a maximum of 4 hours though.

Parking is never sensible in westminster. There are a few small NCP carparks in that area – Ive used one near the Savoy. I’d really think hard about what you need to take and whether or not you can wheel it in a trolley on the tube. It’s a pain to drive and a pain to park.

I was just checking up on that. Is it a fixed fee, will it be the same for the landrover as the mrs’s little corsa?
