    The rear brake has become a bit spongey was thinking of bleeding but also should I replace the pads ive got about 1-2 mm of meat still on the pads

    Worn pads can make the brake feel spongy so you may find that new pads sorts it out without needing to bleed it.

    What bikeneil says. Just had the same issue myself, pads replaced…no need for bleeding.

    Worn pads, less fluid and possibly cavitation in the master cylinder…

    god i must be tired, i saw this thread and assumed it was related to something else entirely. which then led me to ask myself why the hell i still clicked on the link!

    pads and bleeding = brakes, nothing at all to do with other types of cycles. i think i’ll give up on today
