    I'm 5'6" (fairly normal proportions) but have seen a Pace RC405 in medium for a good price.

    Do I have to accept that it is too big?

    As I get older my bikes seem to be getting smaller and smaller (always used to ride 17.5" frames). It measures just a bit longer than my Yeti ASR but I could happily run a shorter stem.
