I laughed at it on the show and then imagined that lots of people would be asking this question on the www today…

    …and they are.

    Let's spell it out:

It made Gavin feel as if he was in a different country (or principality…)
-There is no 'meaning', which is why Gavin was heard asking Smiffy if he got it later on.

    Remember the "fishing trip" thing?

It was Year 7 Parent's evening last night at the school I work in here in South Wales. A collegue had us in stitches this morning as he described how he and another collegue tried to shoehorn as many G+S phrases into thier conversations with parents….

I thought it was a bit of a let-down, I barely raised a smile never mind a laugh.

The reason I ask is that my son uses Owain Hughs (Without an 'e') as a nom de plume, and has done so for a couple of years and sniggers when I ask why he chose that particular name, Owain being his real first name. We have inlaws called Hughs (Without an 'e'), but that's not the reason aparently. Is he utilising the same device or is there really a joke in there somewhere?

My wife thought it was 'I wee in shoes' you have to say it to realise it sounds the same.
