Well, after seriously wanting an Outwell Hartford XL I took the missus and daughter to look at this and the competition. Now, I would have bought the tent on-line but wanted to see and touch it.
I went to Camping and Leisure World superstore in Horsham and they have a lot of tents pitched so comparing is easy. We looked at the Hartford XL and while the living area is good it is high. Also, the sleeping pods aren't exactly massive. We then looked at the other tents and found the Gelert tunnel tents to be excellent and finally settled on the Horizon 8 which turns out to be the shops best seller.
We now have it pitched in the garden and we are ling it more by the minute. I might sleep in it tonight like an excited child 8)
Anybody think I should have gone for the Hartford XL?
