What’s the best way to secure an outward opening door which is the back door to my garage? I can lock the door from inside then go out the proper garage door so security can be subtle. I’m thinking four of these bolts, one in each corner which would mean that if the hinges were cut the door would still be locked in place.

I could also fit hinge bolts as an additional measure but as the frame is UPVC I’m not sure that’s an option.

I could also fit necked barrel bolts on the inside which would serve the same purpose but not look so pretty on the inside.

The door also has a double glazed glass panel so other than board this up or put bars on the window (not very subtle) is there a film I could put over the window to make it less easy to smash.
