What with Trump, Toblerone and the cord on the Roman Blind in my hall falling off again it has been a crap week that I am now capping off with MAN FLU.

I have found a Lemsip in my desk drawer. It expired in July 2015.

Will taking it result in my untimely and messy death?

Put some whisky in it and then it will be fine.

I had one last week that expired in 2008. I didn’t die (I didn’t get better either).

It will be OK if you make it up with surgical spirit instead of hot water.

If you had a professional Roman blind maker such as myself, this would never have happened 🙂

Make your own lemsip = lemon juice, honey and paracetamol.

It will be fine just as and pointless as it is when in date.

Generally speaking, medicines past their use-by date shouldn’t be used due to a potential loss of efficacy rather than because they’ll cause harm. You’ll be fine.

    just as and pointless

Pointless in so far as they won’t make you better any faster, sure. They help with symptoms though.

I’m not sure if this is true but I heard that when lemsip expires it somehow morphs into a picolax substitute?
