Just attached some slx brakes and the levers feel so lush compared to the lx they replaced. Well excited about trying them… 🙂

I like mine: They are pretty reliable and you know what you will get from day to day, unlike all the Hope brakes I have owned.

SLX brakes are good though! I got 4. Until the temp drops below 0 and then I remember to pray! The calipers hate freezing temps and leak like sieves afterwards.

btw Merlin are doing full sets inc rotors and adapters f&r for £120 ish! For vip customers (which is free).

I used mine in blizzard, ploughing through hub-deep snow this winter and all I got was a spongy lever feel, which went away pretty quickly.

I bought mine in a Ribble sale last year for £60 8)

I was even impressed with the Deore front brake I bought as an emergency replacement for my borked Hopes the other weekend. Bargaintastic.

I’m hoping my experience is more like yours mike, got them to replace a leaky set of brakes
