    Cracking computer animation generated from real data. Fly across the universe in 1:49. Incredibly although there are 4000,000 galaxies in the animation its only about a quarter of the observable universe. Just remember each point of light is a galaxy not a star! Way to feel totally insignificant.

    Interesting, thanks. I now know that flying across the universe is very much like swimming underwater through water full of suspended muck 🙂

    I was just thinking the same thing. Like Hathersage open air pool after lots of snotty kids have been in all day. Bet there’s more undiscovered “life forms” in there too!!
