    Why bash ring and flats? The forks and tyres suggest a less gnarly use of the bike. Or is it like my Summer Season Single Speed (SSSS) just cobbled together out of spare bits?

    bashguard cause the crankset came with one and I couldn't be bothered to get new chainring bolts,and flats cause thats all I use{don't like spd's at all}

    Hey – green Inbreds still work in the snow – get on out there; you'll love it…! 😀

    The build looks great, by the way (but what is that saddle?!)

    Nice looking bikes. Made a new year's resolution to buy a new frame and decided to get myself a green inbred too. I feel a bit naughty doing it as it is not a necessity, I'm sure I'll get over it though.

    Good work on the bike but it looks as though your house could do with a bit of work too. You seem to have left off the insides! 😉

    deserter – I had the same bashring on my singlespeed for a while (albeit with Hone cranks). My son used to stand on it when I picked him up from school and I'd wheel him home. After a while the plastic part came away, leaving the metal rings in between the bolt heads and the chainring – which meant I didn't need new bolts and lost the unnecessary bash ring – see here:

    It would be quite easy to purposely do I think.

    Are you running a chaintug on that? If not, have you had any issues with the axle slipping?

    I see what you mean with the bash,but I'm not niche enough to care about taking it off tbh 😀

    yeah I got the chain tug from on-one when I got the frame, I haven't even ridden it yet as we have had a high of -10 over the last week or so{it was -21 when I built it}, I'm going to get some winter cycling gear today so hopefully I'll be able to get out soon{I had British Winter gear but need some real thick trousers or something here}
