Does anyone know yet if,how or when we can apply for the tickets for watching the olympic road race on Box hill? been trying to find it on tinternet with no success.i assume they are still limiting the number on there......

Excellent news, although transporting 15,000 people to Boxhill will be an interesting logistical challenge, nevermind the thousands that will be at other places on the route.
It's less than 2 miles for me. I could walk it! Although plan to cycle over and get back to the house to watch the finish on the TV!

I live 3 miles away and went for the practice run, I rode over. They had a huge amount of cycle storage so that should be the easiest way over. My mate lives on the road after the Zig Zag, hoping he has a BBQ. And invites me....

For the practice race all the local bridleways and footpaths were closed.
No doubt you will able to park in a designated carpark for a huge fee.
I get the feeling if they could charge you to stand at the side of the road and make it as difficult as possible they would.Posted 4 months ago # -
