I find my cheap trimmer get clogged up after a few uses the easiest way to clean has been to blow it out with an airline.

I’ve had a couple, both came from TK Maxx’s bargain bin. First was Wahl, was great until the battery died (but still works so long as it’s plugged in), second I think is Remmington or something.
