Ours are all pretty knackered, to the point that one came off in my hand at the weekend.

They don’t look that complicated, surely it can’t be that hard to replace them? Seen quite a few places online, do I just buy replacements and fit them in a quick and easy swap, or are there things I should look out for/be wary of?

The handles come off easy enough, just 2 screws for mine. Youd need compatible replacements though.

Related question, anyone know how to replace the opening mechanism on a UPVC window that wont open as the locking mechanism is broken, doh! 🙄

    Very easy, 2 screws.

NB You may have to cut down the square spindle to the right depth.

    Screwfix etc sell replacement handles.

    Very easy, 2 screws.

Assuming the original screws and spindles haven’t rusted in.
