A friend has just asked this one :-

After only a short while the soles of my feet go numb. Ive tried different shoes but the same thing. It happens even when Im up out the saddle a lot. What am I doing wrong?

The "perhaps you are tying your laces too tight" one has already been tried. Any ideas anyone. I vaguely remember having this problem, but for the life of me I can't remember why or what I did about it.

Common problem with cleats, as the pressure's concentrated on particular areas. Try aftermarket footbeds…

Shaped insoles. I had the same problem and this works for me.

Or, Specialised BG footbeds. Got to a Specialised stockist get you're "Pasties" out and stand on the funny mat that tells you which type you need. Turned my Sidis from a thing of pain to carpet slippers (well… you know what I mean). Best £24 I've spent in a long time.
