Hi. I’m about to build up a 2012 Mega having just got a frame second hand. My current frame takes a 30.9 Dropper so i need a shim so it fits in the 31.6 Mega seattube.

I’m struggling to find a shim. I emailed superstar and they said the don’t sell then for the size I need.

I’ve read about USE Shims and found them on CRC but can’t work out what I need to order.

Can somebody please help me and let me know what I need to order or where else I could buy te correct shim from.

If not, ill have to try and swap my dropper with someone.

I use the use 30.9 – 31.6 from winstanleys in my mega with 30.9 reverb.
The crc site doesn’t make sense as to what sizes they actually are.

Yeah same here, I’ve got a use shim from winstanleys 30.9 post into 31.6 frame.

You need the top one 30.9-31.6 they were a pound less when I got mine though!

Same here from Winstanleys on my Mega, it makes sense to futureproof yourself for both sizes, no issues reported just use abit of carbon paste to enable less force for clamping
