I’d like to hear your stories/ some inspiration, abut when you decided you should spend less on bikes and bike parts. And spend it on riding your bike in different places instead!

I’ve always been tight about bike and bits.

Back in the day when I had my salary and no real commitments i could have had posher bike stuff maybe even a nice car. I saved for 4 years and went round the world

I’m sure that modern bikes are better in most ways,& I’ll get around to having a demo on some at some stage, but you could have a good holiday or two for the price of a new bike.In 2015 I dragged my old Enduro out of the attic, got the suspension serviced & went to Les Arcs.

I also had a few days on it at Antur Stiniog this year.
