    Am I right in thinking Nobby Nic’s changed in 2010

    I had some a few years ago (non UST, basic non Snakeskin etc) which I liked but they were pretty flimsy

    Looking at UST versions – are they reasonably durable?

    There has been a big change in compounds for 2011, and all non-UST tyres are now tubeless-ready (with sealant). Don’t know about 2010 tyres, but given the overhaul for next year I’d be surprised if there were any big changes from 2008/9.

    i think the 2010 are the ‘allgrounder'(?) ones, ive got the 29er snakeskin versions which have a slightly revised tread, both are now same direction rotation(how we ran them anyway) and the walls are very nice and strong compared to the regular jobs. 2011 sees some different compound versions for the tyre i think.

    Tang’s right. Slightly revised tread for 2010, new bead and compound for 2011.
