made me go a bit dizzy.
cant get my head round people who do things where 1 mistake is a life ender.
FFS riding a unicycle seems dangerous enough for me
adrenaline junkies !
Wow that video makes me dizzy.
Fair play though.
cant get my head round people who do things where 1 mistake is a life ender.
Most of our heralded adventurers face this - we would never have climbed Everest if we didn't have people prepared to give it a go.
I don't feel very well now. Here's some more quueasyness-inducing nonsense for you....
**** that.
*acroobia by the way
Just as well there is a disclaimer, I was thinking of doing it until I read it.
😯
No. No. No. No. No. No. Oh, and no
"There's no li-mit!"
Pah! Like to see him do it with four oranges...

😯
My plums have gone so far inside of me I don't think I'll ever see them again.
"There's no li-mit!"
Well, that's me signing that for the rest of the day.
When he was climbing down I had a brief moment of "at least he's using a harness to be safe getting up and down". Nope, just using it to carry his unicycle.
Nothing Fred Dibnah wouldn't have done 🙂
Ever seen the video of Fred climbing that chimney with safety gear on. Nutter!
he always seemed comfortable with danger!
That's ace!
Love it.
But then a lot of my work is at height, so don't have an issue with it.
Which tyres for bunny hopping a unicycle sideways on top of a breezy 256m chimney in Romania?
Makes my legs go funny watching that.
**** that! With no helmet???!!! 😯
One day, the ladders or railings are going to fail
"Performed by professionals in a controlled environment"
Yeah, right.
Typical unicyclists, always looking for attention.
He's not clipped in though is he?
Medoramas, not sure a helmet would help if he fell mate!
there were 5 of them to start with....
I weirdly kind of want him to fall as a warning to other ****s
literally sweaty palms watching that. No way you'd get me up there!
That ladder. Horrible
What did these idiots do before the Internet.
Plus riding without a helmet...imagine what would happen if he fell off.
LOOK AT MEEEEEeeeeee....*
Alex honnold, free climber...
A quick google suggests that plenty of people die doing this :(. There is no room for anything to go wrong.
Looks like loads of room, top of that chimney looked wider that I'd have thought.
Alex honnold, free climber...
I think you mean solo climber - free climbing is most often done roped. Done lots of soloing in my time but don't particularly like watching it - had a few friends die.
As for the OP video - there's lots of these around particularly from Eastern Europe and Russia, though not necessarily unicycling!
I was quite worried for a minute there - thought he was going to drop one of those oranges, and it would be a long way down to retrieve it.
I suppose the question is whether you'd consider walking around the top of that tower - if not then clearly it's not for you, but if you would, then I suspect for these people they're as confident riding a unicycle or juggling as you are walking (I'm confident I could ride around that on a uni without falling off - but would I? Heck no!)
Red bull Urbex channel, best thing on TV. Beautiful photography..

Vertigo suferer. Watched the first minute. You do wonder how much these people are egged on by the big money available for youtube plays.

It's funny isn't it. Paint two lines one inch apart on the ground and I could probably ride a unicycle along it until I got bored... but a few feet in the air and it would have to be substantially wider to even think about it.
Extrapolating from that, 260-odd metres up, it would have to be at least a mile and a half across before I'd give it a go... 🙂
Nope, mostly because I can't unicycle. I've climbed things like that, though. Worse during the day, because it's easier to see the ground. I still get the heebie jeebies remembering some night climbs.
Just realised I'm gripping the side of the sofa with one hand, and the laptop in the other, whilst giggling at the madness 🙂
Watched about ¼ of it. That was enough...
Loonies!
Silly sod....
It makes this one seem a bit tame as they are clipped in. No bikes involved either.
Hate but love watching stuff like that! I'm crap with heights unless boxed in. I got freaked out going in our loft once!!
Do they get money if I watch it? Not sure I want to encourage people with few options to do stupid stuff just for my enjoyment. 'Twas ever so though, I guess
