Thanks to dmillers thread of a week ago, found out there's a short course been built next to Kyleakin, just over the Skye bridge. Was up at a cousins 30th in Kyle of Lochalsh last night, so with trepidation went over for a lap this morning. It's only 3.5km, but pretty good considering, a few features, bit of climbing. Unfortunately had major self-inflicted whiplash (it was a 'rock' party!) so couldn't hold my head up for more than 1 lap. Clearly it's hardly being used, v deep gravel in many places. Bumped into a trials bike coming the wrong way! Couple of pics -
Very easy to find, straight over the roundabout off the Skye bridge, on about 70m, parking on right. No facilities, but villages close by.
That looks ace. Hope the neck is OK. Mines a bit pranged from a minor crash today!
bugger, i was up that way last month. looks good for a mini blast.
